Our story
Two vets and their three children, bringing a family-owned, independent practice back to Yeovil.
Bringing 40 years of experience to Yeovil
Tom and Sonia both qualified in 2007 and over the past 20 years have worked in all areas of veterinary, from small animal and mixed practice to the Military.
They met while serving with the Royal Army Veterinary Corps and married in 2014. Having always dreamt of opening their own practice and providing pet owners the service that they would expect for their own pets, they went on to open their own successful practice in Amesbury, Wiltshire in 2016.
Keen to bring a family-owned, independent practice back to their home town of Yeovil, Silvester Vets became the vision. Dedicated to providing a caring, compassionate and collaborative service for their clients and the companion animals of Yeovil and the surrounding areas, Tom and Sonia are passionate about using their wealth of experience in both practice management and veterinary medicine to build supportive relationships and to provide high quality and affordable veterinary care.

Tom and Sonia live locally in Yeovil with their three children and recently had to say goodbye to their 13 year old golden Labrador, Goldie.
