Meet Tom and Sonia
Both qualified in 2007, met in the Royal Army Veterinary Corps, and now run Silvester Vets together as a husband and wife team.
Tom

Tom qualified from the University of Cambridge in 2007 and has since worked in a variety of settings, covering a wide range of species and veterinary services, and travelling over the world with the Royal Army Veterinary Corps.
Tom thrives on building strong and trusted relationships with his clients, with compassion and integrity as his core values. Tom also has a Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice and a diploma in Veterinary Business Management.
Outside of work, Tom is a keen adventurer and loves hiking, biking and skiing with his family.
Sonia

- A particular passion for surgery
Sonia qualified from the Royal Veterinary College in 2007. Since starting her career in a mixed practice in Cornwall, deploying as the Veterinary Officer for the working dogs in Afghanistan, and starting a family of their own, Sonia has spent the last 15 years focusing on small animal practice.
Sonia also holds a Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice, has a particular passion for surgery, enjoys mentoring new graduates, but most importantly enjoys forming lasting relationships with her clients and their beloved pets.
In her spare time, Sonia enjoys spending time with her children, from cycling to baking and everything in between!
